Laura is a specialist midwife for clinical skills and education, based at Bolton Foundation Trust in Greater Manchester. Her role is to ensure safety within the unit whilst providing high-quality care, through training and education. 

Laura is undertaking an secondment with HEE as a midwifery clinical fellow which is a fantastic opportunity for her. This role involves adding value to the main objectives of nursing and midwifery within the regional team, whilst developing her own leadership skills.

Laura came into Midwifery after a very different career as a senior manager within a recruitment firm. Following her own personal experience of birth and postnatal period as a single mother led her to where she is today, with a passion to make maternity services the best they can be.
