Chetan has completed his MBBS and training in anaesthesia in India. After moving to the UK, he completed his training in anaesthesia and has developed specialty interests in regional anaesthesia, perioperative medicine as well as vascular anaesthesia.

Chetan is involved in teaching and training junior doctors as well as staff. He is an accredited Educational and Clinical Supervisor as well as a mentor for doctors. His other interest is research and quality improvement projects. He is involved as Principal Investigator for the trust in National Audits as well as research studies being conducted in the UK. He has published case reports as well as review articles in various journals and written book chapters.

In his spare time, Chetan likes to travel, trek at high altitudes as well as participate in endurance treks. He has travelled to various places for treks, and before the pandemic, he summited Kilimanjaro. He aspires to do more high-altitude treks.
