Original author Louise Pennington was, at the time of writing, in a new, innovative role where Macmillan Cancer Support and the South Western Ambulance Service teamed up to enable the delivery of a supportive, responsive service to improve the care for people with cancer in the South West.

 

She is now Palliative Care Lead Nurse with University Hospitals Dorset NHS Trust, Macmillan Caring Locally and Forest Holme Hospice.
