Eleanor Leigh
Senior Clinical Psychologist

Eleanor is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust’s CAMHS Mood Disorder Service and Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Service (for which she is also the team coordinator). She is a BACP-accredited therapist.

Eleanor provides teaching and training in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety disorders in children and young people. She is a teacher and trainer on the Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies course (CYP-IAPT) and supervises and teaches on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, King’s College London (Institute of Psychiatry).

Research includes a programme of experimental research exploring cognitive factors that maintain adolescent depression and evaluation of CBT interventions aimed at preventing and treating adolescent depression.
