Abi has worked as a pharmacist specializing in palliative and end-of-life care in Birmingham for the past 15 years, both in the NHS and the hospice voluntary sector.
Many of these roles were cross-boundary and cross-sector and during this time Abi has developed an interest in providing equitable access to symptom management and medication, no matter where the care is required.
More recently Abi has set out on a new adventure to use and develop her skills acquired in palliative care in a new setting of ‘out-patient antimicrobial therapy’ whilst working with the antimicrobial charity the British Society for Antimicrobial Therapy.
