Colin Deane is Director of Medical Engineering and Physics and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College Hospital, London. He has over twenty-five years of experience in vascular ultrasound at King’s.

A former President of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS), he teaches on courses within and outside King’s College London on the effective use and applications of ultrasound and has contributed to several books and papers on clinical ultrasound. He hopes that these e-learning sessions prove helpful so that when, one day, he has an ultrasound scan, the operator is able to obtain the best quality images and results to aid his rapid return to good health!
