Lyudmila is a junior doctor who completed her medical degree at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, as well as obtaining a BSc in neuroscience from the University of Sussex. She has been involved with surgical research for a number of years, in particular involving plastic surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. Her area of specific interest includes the management of paediatric burns.
She has been involved with running the surgical society during medical school (being vice-president) and was involved in introducing sessions for the Surgery in Schools programme locally on behalf of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
She is currently heavily involved with establishing a local research network for students. |
