Anne Wadey
Head of Bereavement Advice Centre

The Bereavement Advice Centre is a national helpline and website that provides practical information, advice and signposting for bereaved people.

After originally training and working as a nurse and midwife, Anne then spent 17 years developing bereavement services in acute trusts and gained first-hand experience of inquests, post mortem examination issues, retained organs enquiries, PALS and complaints.

Anne edits the newsletters of the Bereavement Services Association and is the author of ’What to do when someone dies’ (Which? Books).
