Claire graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 2004. Her anaesthetic training was completed on the South West Peninsula training rotation and she also undertook a year’s fellowship in regional anaesthesia, day surgery and management. she was appointed to a Consultant post at Torbay Hospital in South Devon in September 2013.
Her areas of professional clinical interest are regional anaesthesia and day surgery. She completed the European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia & Pain Therapy (EDRA) qualification in 2012 and has taught and presented frequently on ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia at local, regional and national levels as well as publishing in peer reviewed journals and authoring a chapter in the Oxford Handbook of Regional Anaesthesia.
