Elaine Skinn is a lecturer in the Faculty of Health & Social Care at the University of Hull where she teaches gastroenterology.
Prior to working in higher education Elaine worked as a nurse, qualifying as a registered general nurse (RGN), ward sister of a colo-rectal ward and then specialising in colo-rectal cancer as a specialist nurse practitioner, now specialising in Medicine and Gastroenterology. Elaine is a trained Endoscopist and trainer in colonoscopy.
