Sebastian Lucas is professor of clinical histopathology at KCL School of Medicine, based in Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, London. His main interests are infectious disease pathology, promoting better autopsy practice, teaching, and global maternal mortality. He has worked in Africa as well as London, and has contracts with St George’s Hospital, UCL Hospital and the Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
