As well as working as an acute physician, Dr Wood is quality management lead for the postgraduate school of medicine. He is also one of the consultants from the PD Northumbria team, responsible for seven community PD clinics with a caseload of over 300 patients. His interests include falls, incontinence, autonomic problems and emergency presentations in PD, and he has lectured nationally and internationally on these aspects. He originally trained in geriatric medicine in the North East of England. |
