Sawsen Sabbah
Lead Frailty Pharmacist, Basingstoke Hospital

Sawsen Sabbah is a lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Reading and is the Lead Frailty Pharmacist at Basingstoke Hospital. She’s passionate about teaching and has had experience teaching pre-registration pharmacists and diploma pharmacists, as well as conducting teaching for the wider multidisciplinary team such as nurses and medical doctors. She has also delivered talks at various regional meetings and national conferences. Within her clinical role she is a non-medical prescriber and has completed the course in advanced history taking and physical assessments. She is passionate around the topic of de-prescribing of medications in older patients. She is planning on completing her Advanced Clinical Practice course.
