Kim Edwards is the Programme Director for the Wessex Neonatal Preceptorship Programme and Clinical Educator for the Thames Valley and Wessex Operational Delivery Network (ODN) (Neonatal).
Kim has worked within Neonatal care for over 27 years with over 20 years as a Sister and Practice Educator on a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She has always been passionate about nurse education and how that can influence and develop nurses new to the specialty of neonates.
In addition to her day job, Kim is currently undertaking her Master’s degree in Health Sciences at the University of Southampton and has just commenced her dissertation which will be evaluating the lived experiences of the Preceptee within the Neonatal Preceptorship programme.
