Viv Marsh is a specialist nurse with more than 30 years’ experience of NHS clinical practice across primary, secondary and community care settings. Viv believes that excellence in education for healthcare professionals and supporting self-management are the key to improving health outcomes for people with Long Term Conditions.

As Facilitation Coordinator for the IMP2ART research programme Viv manages the facilitation of the IMP2ART implementation strategy in general practice. Alongside this role, Viv also works part time in primary care diagnosing, reviewing and managing patients with asthma and is a CCG Clinical Lead for Children and Young People’s Asthma Transformation.

Viv has a number of additional professional interests including roles on the editorial board for a nursing journal and the committee for the National Paediatric Respiratory and Allergy Nurses Group (NPRANG), writing for publication and developing online education. In 2020 Viv joined the Primary Care Respiratory Society Education Committee and in 2021 she became a Queen’s Nurse and the Chair of the NPRANG Education Committee.
