Monica has been Chief Executive of Education for Health since 2001 she has a clinical background nursing. She has held various senior management positions including Director of primary care for London NHS Executive and has been a Lecturer in Primary Care in Birmingham.
Monica is a member of the BTS Asthma guidelines Executive Committee, Chair and Secretary (2003-2009) of the Primary Care Group of the European Respiratory Society & Council Member of the European Lung Foundation A member of the American Thoracic Society Nursing Assembly and represents nursing on the Executive Committee of the Global Alliance against Chronic Respiratory Diseases (WHO).
